You enter as many times as you like - and each time you enter, you get stamped in for 180 days, which you’re allowed to extend a further 180 days at immigration. “Once” means you can’t keep extending at immigration, you can only do it once, then leave and come back.

Pretty simple.

jeeze mate, I was basically suggesting to just chill out, but seems you’ve got quite a chip on your shoulder. I’ll spell it out more explicitly… re-read my comment, it was only intended as a bit of banter/fun. It’s Friday arvo, you’re in Thailand, enjoy a beer. Cheers 🍻

it was a joke and I believe it was taken as such. Though, I now see why you’re so touchy on the grammar subject.

I’m not usually one to comment on grammar but the word “too”, which rarely makes an appearance at all in bad grammar posts, being used four times and all wrong must be some kind of record. Good luck and enjoy the trip… too.

no change, last year in July I did it the same way I did this month. Fill out online application for pre-approval email to come through 7 days later. Then went into Macquarie Street with pre-approval number to hand in my passport and the paper copies of forms and docs used online. Went back 7 days later to collect. The passport shows it was actually stamped and processed the day I dropped it off but was told to come a week later. Smooth and easy process, worth it for 6 month METV
