we are with Bangkok, purely because our lawyer uses them for business accounts and we hit them on the day with opening personal accounts as well. We’d approached Kassikorn who insisted that we get a form from the Australian embassy…who doesn’t offer this service. Kassikorn bank didn’t care, they wanted that piece of paper. For us, of course, their attitude meant they were a non starter. So far, Bangkok has offered a fantastic array of services, so we’re very happy.

If memory serves, Bangkok is hotter than Miami, and Miami might be less humid for more of the year. But, that’s only a memory, not based on science.

no. It has to be placed in a bank. If you’re making enough interest to meet your Thai obligations, the chances are you can move it through one account and back to the master, offshore account.
