How can I successfully check in for my TM30 registration in Thailand?

I am currently in-country in KutRang... I already registered my wife's house and was trying to use the government site [members only]/ to do my TM 30 check in. Well, that site flatly refused to accept my data. I had used it before, but this time no go. I think something perhaps that it required an arrival number, but they no longer issue those. Anyhow... a couple of google searches and I found [members only]/ which gives 4-5 free registrations. I provided my current creds to the thai immigration site, uploaded my passport picture and about 30 seconds later was finally checked in. Perfect!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user faced difficulties in checking their TM30 registration on the official Thai immigration website, speculating that it might be related to the absence of an arrival number. After searching for solutions, they discovered a third-party site (tm30.io) that facilitated a quick check-in process. Comments included potential issues with browser translation functions and concerns about the credibility of third-party registration sites.

I assume you have checked that the link you have posted does not take members into a scam site ? I suspect that it is as it is free to register a TM30. You may wish to check with immigration.

That is great. Will save me no end of hassle if it works for me. Did you have to enter your address?

you will have to have already registered the house using the Thai site. The

is just an interface into that Thai official site.

sorry, I dont understand what you mean by the Thai site. I have done tm30 several times in person all with the same address but as soon as I stay in a hotel anywhere I have to spend the day doing it again. It's a pain in the rear end.

hi Nick... normally I did not need to use TM30.io site at all. I went directly to the

"Thai site".
************************************
is the official Thai site that is used to submit TM30 applications for a parties house/resort/hotel etc. I created an account there and then submitted my wife's house information. I think the initial registration process took a few days but after that I was then able to submit my TM30 form directly to them whenever I traveled back to Thailand. This last trip for some reason

was rejecting all my submissions. I then used TM30.io to make my submission (which in turn interfaces directly with

and that worked fine. Hope this makes sense...

very little makes any sense here. You just have to live with it.

My guess is that you were using Chrome. Regular chrome windows auto translate from Thai to English and it screws up something so the form isn’t accepted.

Switch to an incognito window and the problem is resolved as it doesn’t translate.

ah. Will try that next time!

Although I don't know what was wrong with your TM30 attempts, the TM6 number is not the problem as it's not a required field.

yeah, not sure why it would not pass. I even used the console etc.. trying to see what was failing, but no go.
