It is my intention to relocate to Hua hin to live in a few months on a retirement visa. I am well aware that one of the requirements is 800,000 baht deposited in a thai bank or 400,000 if married to a thai national, which I have 10 years service for 😊, but were married in U.K. & not Thailand, yet !

I already have 2 bank accounts with Kasikorn bank, one which I transfer GBP£ and the other in baht....

My question is, on application to immigration, does the currency have to show in baht or, in my case, can it be in U.K. Sterling ?
