I'm looking to apply for the soft power DTV visa under Discover Thai Nature in about two weeks. I'm considering Manila or Savvanakhet, Laos. I'm just checking to see if anyone has had recent experience applying at either place under soft power. What were your experiences like and how long did the process take?

hi all, quick question here! I applied for the dtv on July 2 in Manila, Philippines. I know my docs and $ are all good (been in my account for over 3 months).

Today makes the 7th budiness day and I still haven’t heard anything at all. Still shows as “pending document check.” Can anyone who applied in Manila tell me how long this stage took for them/if them taking this long to just check my docs is normal?

Just got the DTV in Manila! I submitted all the requested documents through the E Visa (I own my own business and was able to show bank statements from the business) and they requested details on my business and services, paperwork showing I founded and own the business, and the business license. I was staying here for a couple weeks and just used my hotel booking as proof of location and it was approved within a week.

So just putting it out there that Manila is a great option for applying!
