I recently got married to my thai wife in my home country, Argentina.
What are the required steps to:
1) validate my marriage certificate in Thailand (so that we are recognized as married for Thailand) and
2) to get a non-o 1 year visa in Ho Chi Minh (not the required documents for this as they are in this group but maybe I need something specific for my case)
Here’s all the documents I brought:
- original marriage certificate
- my original birth certificate
- my certificate that states I didn’t commit crimes in Argentina
All 3 documents have been:
- certified by the Argentina ministry of foreign affairs
- translated into English from Spanish
- certified the translation in the official entity for translators (the one the translator belongs to)
- certified the translation by the Argentina ministry of foreign affairs
- certified them in the Thai Embassy of Buenos Aires
To my understanding the next steps are (but please correct me if they aren’t):
- take them to the Argentina embassy in Bangkok
- translate them into Thai
- take them to the ministry of foreign affairs in Bangkok
