ORIGINAL POSTERHi Just like to relate my pleasant experience Thai Embassy Canberra for Non O-A Retirement.
Applied on my birthday 50, had it back on 5th day incl postage .
Money (AUD 40K +) was only deposited weeks before & statement ordered & printed, police check, medical certificate all notarized by a JP for free. . Altogether cost less than $400. Can now get 2 years (single entry on 2nd year) from this. So much easier than in Thailand.
Assuming i get let in next week 55. Best option if you are traveling home IMO.
