Hi. I'm currently getting prepared to submit an application for a non o retirement visa to the Thai embassy in London using the e-visa system. For proof of current residence I was planning to upload a copy of my annual council tax bill which is dated April of this year. Please can anyone who has recent experience confirm that this will be acceptable. I couldn't find any list of acceptable documents on the website. I know there is a reference to utility bills but given my payment period for these they wouldn't necessarily be that up to date. Thank you
I will be applying for a DTV soft power when I am back in the uk. So applying through the London embassy as uk passport holder. When I input flight details into the e visa system can I just put my proposed flight details using Emirates or Qatari flight numbers or do I actually have the tickets bought already?
I’ll be applying for my ED Visa in Malaysia using the e-visa system- I am wondering if I have to stay in the city I apply in? I.e. if I apply in Kuala Lumpur, can I wait for approval in Penang or Lankawi? (Asking because my school had me choose the city that I’m applying from)
Hello everyone, is there someone who could give me the names of trustworthy visa agencies in Pattaya. I will arrive in September and I'd like to get a retirement visa. Thank you in advance. 🙏
I lived and worked in Bkk for many years, working at The Nation..blah blah...came back to the UK to take care of aged mum for seven years.
Now I want to move back to Thailand (Hua Hin) and researching the best way to obtain a 90 day Non O visa while here in the UK...i have read so much conflicting advice about the process, so if anyone in the know can shed some real light on this i would be eternally grateful. Cheers.
I applied for DTV as remote worker at LA consulate mid March and around 10 days later got a request for more documentation. It’s been more than 30+ days now after submission with no update. I emailed them already 3 weeks post re-submission and still no update on the application. Still says ‘pending document check.’ If I get accepted, great. But, if I get rejected, can I walk into a consulate in Taiwan and apply there as a US citizen? It’s unfortunate that the LA consulate has taken as long as it has because I’ve heard from others that the Thai consulates in other parts of the US are processing at a much faster rate. Any advice will be appreciated.
Had my DTV approved in 3 business days via Online application through Canberra Australia consulate. Very smooth process. If you're an Aussie, I reckon it's better to apply from home rather than a neighbouring country.
