if husband and wife each get approved for a separate dtv visa, is 1,000,000 baht needed in their joint account? or is 500,000 baht sufficient?
can anyone clarify if dtv dependents need income verification, and are they also allowed to do soft power?
is there a certain monthly income requirement that's needed for proof, in addition to the mandatory 500,000 thai baht, for the spouse dependent? like in reference to the required bank statements - are they seeking a certain amount?
I am an American citizen who has a NON-RE Multi-Entry Permit based on Retirement that was renewed for one year recently. For next year's renewal I have already started having 65,000 Baht transferred monthly into my Thai bank from abroad.
My non-Thai girlfriend (Lao) will be having our first child this year, and the child will be registered as an American citizen with an American passport. I believe the baby, who will be born in Thailand, can stay in Thailand with me, as a dependent child under my retirement permit.
My main question: Are there additional financial requirements for me to meet for the baby to be able to stay in Thailand under basically the same terms as me?
