ORIGINAL POSTERI'm going from an edu visa to DTV (workcatiion) on my second passport. I have a Thai bank account. My friends said it could be blocked once I switch to DTV. Has this actually happened to someone?

ORIGINAL POSTERI need assistance I have applied but they want bank statements which uploaded I have more then enough money in my account to qualify. But they responded and said I needed a USA bank account and US dollars. I have been living in Europe for the past 6 years just back in the US for a visit right now. I only have an eu account and I transfer everything to euros because it has much less fluctuations then the dollar right now.
