Hello I got a question, on the Thai embassy site it says you only need a passport picture, a 2”x2” pic, bank statement, and flight info to apply for a tourist visa. I’m at the supporting documents portion of the application but there are tons of documents here such as insurance, quarantine, declaration, and many others. I’m not traveling until June 23 and am waiting to see if they get rid of test in go in may to book the other stuff. Is all that really required? Or do I just need the first 4 things? Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the required documents for applying for a Thailand tourist visa, as the official embassy site mentions only a passport photo, a bank statement, and flight info. However, upon reaching the supporting documents section, they find additional requirements related to insurance, quarantine, and declarations. Responses suggest that the embassy's form may require different documents for various visa types, and it is advisable to confirm requirements before making bookings, especially considering possible changes due to COVID-19.
They use the same form for many visa types. For supporting documents for some of the questions just re upload your hotel booking or passport. They’re not expecting you to know anyone in Thailand.
well I’m staying with my fiancé and don’t have a hotel booking.. They say test and go will be gone in may so I’m waiting on booking the hotel.. what should I do? Is purchase of insurance required for the visa step? I know it is for test and go
I’m not aware that it is a requirement for the visa stage, but since they’ve switched to the evisa system I’ve not got actual experience of everything they ask.
