Inquiring about the necessary documents for a visa application to Thailand led to several responses detailing requirements. Required documents include a copy of the passport, a photo of the applicant holding their passport, and proof of address like a utility bill or bank statement. The discussion highlights the importance of adhering to hygiene standards in photo submissions.

I sent a bank statement with my address on it, and what's so hard about figuring out the 2nd one, take a picture of you holding your visa open to info page, brush your hair first though, they are tough on hygiene issues

No 10 , upload a utility bill or council tax letter stating you’re name as a resident at said address , just got my E-Visa last night & it was a council tax letter I used
nah you get 30 days on entry , only need a visa if going for more than 30 days , u can get a visa extension while there but easier to do it here & cheeper too 🤙🏼
Stuart is right, this part is for foreigners living in another country, but the web developers missed the point and made the field mandatory. So upload your passport and you'll be fine. Many did it before you.
a passport will confirm citizenship of what country ...but residency...you need a proof and address in that country ...but knowing thai English...you never know what they really want
they are asking for proof of residency in the country. A passport will suffice for that if the applicant is from that country. If not then they’d need to upload a visa showing that they have entitlement to reside there.
