8 . Identity of the person inviting you to stay e.g. Thai ID card, Passport

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a 60-day tourist visa to Thailand, you need to provide specific supporting documents, particularly regarding your identity and residency. For the identity of the person inviting you, you can upload a Thai ID card or a passport. For the residency verification, options include uploading a hotel booking confirmation or a utility bill; some have successfully used a driving license to demonstrate residency. It may also be necessary to provide flight information. It's advisable to check the requirements based on your embassy/consulate and ensure you apply for your e-Visa according to your consular jurisdiction.

Regarding residency don't you always have right to apply in the country according to your passport?

some countries have multiple Thai consulates, so they want to know the particular consulate that has jurisdiction according to where you live
