Both myself and my wife got the DTV in the last 2 months. Both of us used our Brokerage statements rather than a checking or savings accounts. I hear alot of misinformation here so I figured this may help somebody.
Both of us went through the DC Thai consulate and submitted Schwab Brokerage statements. She had around 50K USD in the S&P500 (VOO/SPLG) and I have around 150k in the same.
No idea if crypto or random sketchy stocks would work like GME.
Unfortunately I got email reply my visa application has been cancelled:
Documentary requirements not satisfied
May I check what is this meaning? My document is in problem or my criteria not meet?
Was anyone got the same reply? Could you please share your experience, I don’t know what was happening even they didn’t ask for additional documents and reject my application by the 6-7 working days.
I would like to know if it is still possible to apply to a non-immigrant O visa directly at the embassy (Kuala Lumpur for instance), or if the only way is to use the e-visa platform.
I am currently in Cebu and when I apply online the current address drop-down for "States/City" does not have "Cebu". I went through all the possibilities to try and find "Cebu City" for the City field since they are connected and it was listed under Bataan. I'm pretty sure it is incorrect. What do you guys think? Will I get rejected if I submit as-is? This seems to be a problem with the site. Anyone have experience with this?
Edit: I can't seem to reply to my own post. Added the options I have available
Update: reached out to the Thai embassy in Seoul. After multiple back and forth, they confirmed tourists who entered Korea with K-ETA can apply for the DTV. They stressed the approval could take about a month.
Hi, has anyone applied in Seoul as a non-resident (tourist) and got approved?
I’m a US citizen on a tourist visa undergoing tests in Seoul for a recently diagnosed illness. I’m hoping to apply for DTV under soft power (medical) to continue with tests and treatment in Bangkok. I see on the Thai embassy website that I would need to be residing in South Korea - i find this a bit vague, does this mean the application is only open to residents, or can non-residents (tourists) apply as well as long as they’re in SK until the DTV is issued?
I am about to submit my application tonight or tomorrow.
Something that changed and probably came with the recent update is the travel information section. It sais:
last port of embarkation
then choose the type of transport, choose from land, sea, air and
vehicle number
Pretty confusing.
Last port of embarkation I would put “Laos” in there as my trip to enter Thailand starts in Laos. I would enter Thailand by bus so I would choose “land”. How about the vehicle number? I don’t know when exactly I will be traveling and what the number plates of the bus will be on that trip.
Hello guys I've received this requesting documents on 6th may and I submitted my company registered certificate and my business account statement but up to now I never receive any message on my email
