Does anyone know what can be used as a "Document Indicating Current Location" in the DTV request if I don’t have a long-term residence in the country I’m applying from?
I’m applying from Canada. I’m a Canadian citizen and physically here right now, but I’m only traveling here temporarily. I don’t have anything with a permanent Canadian address (like a driver’s license, rental contract, utility bill, etc.).
Has anyone been in a similar situation? For example, would things like a boarding pass, entry stamp, hotel booking, or something similar work? I’d really appreciate hearing what documents have worked for others.
In Vientiane, Laos, they require a "Document Indicating current Location." Do you know if my hotel reservation will work for this? At the moment of application, my current Location is Laos.
