Does anyone know what can be used as a "Document Indicating Current Location" in the DTV request if I don’t have a long-term residence in the country I’m applying from?
I’m applying from Canada. I’m a Canadian citizen and physically here right now, but I’m only traveling here temporarily. I don’t have anything with a permanent Canadian address (like a driver’s license, rental contract, utility bill, etc.).
Has anyone been in a similar situation? For example, would things like a boarding pass, entry stamp, hotel booking, or something similar work? I’d really appreciate hearing what documents have worked for others.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user asks about acceptable documents for the 'Document Indicating Current Location' requirement in a DTV request while temporarily in Canada, not having a permanent address. Responses suggest that items like a boarding pass, entry stamp, hotel booking, or other travel-related documents can serve this purpose. Additionally, it is recommended to apply from outside Thailand to avoid application fee loss.
You’re supposed to apply from outside of Thailand. So don’t apply yet, you’ll have risk of losing application fee. Go to Vietnam or nearest country to apply, and stay there until you got approved.
I applied in Indonesia while I was visiting family there. I used the arrival stamp in my passport and the remaining blank pages to show that I hadn't left the country, plus a letter from the owner of the home I was staying in and a photo of us in front of the home.
