Hello, a question for:

A USA Citizen currently making Documents for their Non B Visa, at their new school in Bangkok.

The last process, before making the Non B is to get the documents legalized and certified at Department of Consular Affairs at Chaeng Watthana. It is 200/400 baht per stamp.

Which documents do they need legalized?

*USA Affidavit?

*Original Transcript?

*Copy of Transcript?

*Passport?

*Police Report?

*USA University Original Bachelor's Degree?

Secondly, do they need these additional forms to do the Legalization process?

*Copy of Passport ID page?

*Copy of Passport Last Stamp page?

*Visa Photo?

The foreign teacher must do, go, and pay for this themself, and must take time off their teaching job to do so. Thank you for your accurate advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A USA citizen preparing for a Non B Visa in Thailand needs to know which documents require legalization at the Department of Consular Affairs. Essential documents for legalization include the USA Affidavit and the USA University Original Bachelor's Degree. It's also advisable to bring a copy of the passport ID page and the last visa stamp. While the foreign teacher is responsible for this process, some comments suggest checking with their employer for potential assistance.

It’s the affidavit attesting to your degree that needs to be stamped there…you’ll need to bring your passport too

Shouldn't your new employer be doing all that or at least some of it for you?
