Dear members. I have an appointment at MFA for legalisation of some documents. Will they offer me the translation service at that point? Or do I need to get this done beforehand?

Answer summary

The MFA does not provide translation services directly for document legalization appointments, but there are translation services available just outside the entrance. It is advisable to get the translation done beforehand, although some attendees have reported using nearby translation services without issue.

There is no translation service. They provide you with a list of 15 translation offices. I walked around a bit lost and soon was approached by a lady who seemed to be related to nr12…. 300-400 baht per document, done within the hour.

The entrance (just outside) will be lined with offers for 30 minute translation service. I used them, no issues.
