ORIGINAL POSTERIt increasingly looks like the DTV Visa is the way to go for me. One of the things you don't get is a bank account, so my question is, what is the benefit of a bank account?
I know that I would save some money when bringing in cash but what else?

ORIGINAL POSTERHello. Can I sign up to TrueMoney while being in Thailand on a DTV visa? I want to get YouTube Premium at the reduced Thai price and TrueMoney is one of YouTube’s payment options. Would love to have a proper account set up but multiple attemps in the past did not work.

ORIGINAL POSTERFor those under DTV visa, how do you pay utility bills and day to day stuff? Like other than cash, are there possible ways to pay digitally for rent and stuff? Better to have a digital trace rather than rely on receipts.
And another big question, how do you buy a car if you can't have a thai bank account?
