Hello everybody!

I did my very first STV visa extension today in Bangkok, Changwatthana Immigration and wanted to share my experience with you.

Required Documents that they wanted:

1. Passport size Photo

2. Copy of Passport (information page, visa, entry stamp)

3. Copy of TM06 (your blue little arrival card)

4. TM07 Form (Application for extension of temporary stay in Thailand)

5. STM 2 Form (Acknowledgement of term and Conditions of overstay)

6. ASQ certificate from Department of Disease Control (The letter you get at the end of your stay that you have completed your State quarantine)

7. The Receipt of said ASQ with the full payment written out (This should also be given to you at the end of your quarantine stay)

8. Health insurance Letter which spells out your IP, OP and your Covid coverage for the next 3 month you planning on staying in the country

9. The Receipt of said Insurance with the full payment was also needed

10. For proof of residence here in Thailand my TM30 was fully enough because it stated the period of time I have rented my condo (Its a lease for 1 year). So no lease agreement needed. Now, you will probably need a different proof depending on what kind of place you are staying at (e.g. Airbnb, Hotel, ect.).

11. Fee of 1900 Thai baht which is only payable in cash

12. Sign all pages as well!!

All in all a quick and stress free experience but there where (of course) a lot of people there and the seats are all huddles together so it won’t hurt to mask up properly and bring disinfectant everywhere like its holy water to an exorcism ^^.

I also made an appointment over the website, which honestly turned out a lot faster and easier than I originally thought ^^. Now today on the actual day I walked in and showed my Appointment Email with Number and everything and was promptly dismissed and given a queue ticket to wait outside and wait until told to come in.

By the time I actually was inside and given another queue ticket it was already past my appointment and again nobody seemed to care that I even had one. Nevertheless I was in and out in below 20 minutes Time.

I am quite sure I might have just walked up to the wrong counter or something but no harm done here (just be more clever then me when you go ^^).

(If it is a little confusing to understand the first queue ticket was for actually getting into the department for extending visa and the second one was my queue ticket for the waiting room to get to the counter where I extended my visa)

I hope this helps someone in a similar situations. Have a lovely rest day people.
