Hi everyone

You have given me great advice in the past and before I ask this question iv tried to look through all the information available for an answer.

My friend UK based with a UK passport has only visited for 4 weeks maximum holiday 3 times a year in the past. He is retired.

He wishes to come Dec 1st to Feb 28th approximately for extended holidays. What is best for him visa wise without having to get extentions etc whilst here.

What are a retired Australian couples options for staying in Thailand for around 6 weeks for a holiday, can you enter on a 30 day visa free exemption, and then apply for an extension, or is it better to get a 60 day visa from Australia before entering?
