I’m going into the immigration department in Chiang Mai this week to extend my Non Immigrant O visa for the first time based on marriage to a Thai national. Thanks to this group I think I have everything but still have one question.

My wife has a blue book because she owns a house. I don’t have a yellow book yet.

Does anyone in Chiang Mai know if I will need an affidavit from the U.S consulate in Chiang Mai affirming my residency? I have an appointment but don’t want to cancel before I’m sure I won’t need it. Sorry for asking a follow up question but I’m getting conflicting information. Thx. Ray.
