If I’m applying for a Soft Power Muay Thai DTV, is there a minimum course length I need to demonstrate when submitting my documents? For example, do I need to prebook six months of training, or would booking just a month still meet the requirements? (Never booked more than 2-3 months of training after two years in Thailand because injury risk)

Also, how is the program regulated—or not—in terms of switching gyms? For instance, if I start training in the south and later want to move to a gym in Bangkok, would that affect my eligibility?

I applied for the Soft Power Muay Thai DTV through the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles.

Application submitted: Monday, 10 a.m.

Approval received: Tuesday, 11:25 a.m. → ~24-hour turnaround

What I submitted:

Bio data page of passport

Passport photo

Proof of current address (front & back of driver’s license)

Three months of bank statements showing $17.2k USD

Tiger Eye MMA documents: invitation letter, payment receipt(6 month membership), boxing board registration, company affidavit

Does anyone know if having a Soft Power Muay Thai DTV is it ok to travel around Thailand to train at any gym other than the gym used in the application? Or is this not checked at all at the moment if only extending by doing border bounces?
