Has anyone applied for a Non O Visa online for a neighbouring country's embassy but not in the country yet? I'm going to Laos next week to do my Non O Visa, but wondering if I can submit the application in advance to have it processed quicker.

I want to thanks the moderators for their precious and differentiates answers.

I learn a lot and at the end of day, I understand that the Thai Visa policy is logical, when you got it.

Hello everyone! First time posting and looking for some advice.

My wife and I hold a mexican passport, and we are currently on a Visa On Arrival Stamp in Bangkok. We are looking to extend our stay for at least 3 more months, so we considered traveling outside of Thailand for a few days or weeks even, and applying for a 60 days Visa with 30 days extension from outside Thailand.

Are there any countries you recommend us applying for the Tourist Visa from? I've heard Penang, Malaysia is a good place to apply from.

Also quick note, we arrived in Thailand on June on a Special Tourist Visa, renewed it once on August 18th, had a 7 day extension at the Immigration Division 1 Office at the end of November and exited Thailand on December 2nd to visit Vietnam. We are back in Thailand on the VOA stamp as I mentioned earlier.

Should I be worried that because of our long stay our tourist visa might be refused?

I am looking to arrange a long term visa. I am currently in Phuket. My wife and kids are Thai. 

Can I arrange a spouse visa (non-immigrant O) without leaving Thailand?

Failing that I have a Singapore Employment Pass so believe I can use the embassy there rather than go back to my home country of the UK. Does anyone know how long that will take?

Are there any other locations nearby I could use which are faster?

The Singapore embassy only offers Single entry. I travel several times a month and so getting an exit permit each time would be impractical. Is it possible to convert that to multiple entry in Thailand?
