TLDR : Answer Summary
The term "Document indicating current location" refers to the proof of your current residence status, which may vary depending on whether you are applying for a Thai visa from your home country or from abroad. Typically, applicants are required to provide an entry stamp in their passport if applying from a foreign country. If applying from their home country, acceptable documents can include a driver's license, utility bill, or any official document that shows their address. Various users have shared that documents like hotel bookings, Airbnb receipts, and letters from condo offices can also serve as valid proof of residence.

Did you select the embassy of the country you are currently in? They want evidence that you are actually there.

If you're in home country, it's same thing you use there to show where you are living. Your rental, utility bill, drivers license, etc etc. If you're overseas already, hotel booking, entry stamp.

Normally, they want to see an entry stamp in your passport if you’re applying from a country, which isn’t your home location.

If applying from home, driving licence, proof of address or similar.

I sent a photo holding a news paper they said it was not valid and asked for any type of bill. So I guess you can submit hotel, Airbnb receipt, etc…
