TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen applying for a 60-day tourist visa through the E-Visa system is inquiring about the need to provide proof of current location for their children. Several commenters suggest practical proof options, like a driver's license or utility bill, while others discuss the necessity of obtaining a visa when UK citizens can enter Thailand with a visa exemption for 60 days upon arrival. There is advice to not worry too much about applying for the visa given the exemption policy and various suggestions on documents that could prove their current location.

You don't need a 60 day visa. UK citizens get 60 day via exemption on arrival. Save your money and just turn up.

If you don't have a stamp in your passport proving your arrival in UK, buy a daily newspaper and take a mug shot

I used a picture of the passport photo page just like at another question.
I’m being ultra safe and getting my kids pre-approved 60 day tourist visas as they left Thailand on overstays from their last visit. Didn’t want to leave anything to chance arriving at airport immigration and hoping they get 60 days visa exemption
A visa does not guarantee entry - if blacklisted they will still be denied entry even with a visa. You are wasting your money.

You state you are UK citizens but don’t state where you are physically located or what embassy you are going through for the evisa. Proof of current location may varry
perfectly logical question. I’m being ultra safe and getting my kids pre-approved 60 day tourist visas as they left Thailand on overstays from their last visit. Didn’t want to leave anything to chance arriving at airport immigration and hoping they get 60 days visa exemption.
then there is no problem at all. And how anybody can even imagine that a family is coming and they wouldn't allow the kids in? Tourist visa is for nothing now
so you are saying me getting 60 day tourist visas for my kids is a waste of time and money? They will always be allowed back into Thailand visa exempt despite their previous overstay?
I guess I would have no choice because there is rarely anything that is addressed to the children that I could use as proof of them residing at our family house in the UK.
