Hi everyone. My dad is trying to fill in his online visa for multiple entry. We need help with Section 4 and he’s applying as a U.K. citizen.

4. Resident Permit in a country in which visa application is submitted (in case that applicant is not a national of the country in which visa application is submitted)

What is the document required for this? All the help online appears to be out of date.

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Section 4 of the visa application for a U.K. citizen applying for multiple entry to Thailand, if the applicant is not a national of the country from which the application is being submitted, they need to provide proof of legal residence. This can include a copy of their passport and any relevant visa or residency documentation.

Upload a copy of his passport. No idea why they word it this badly, but they’re just asking for proof you can live in the country you’re applying from. If per chance he’s not a national of the country he’s residing in then proof of a visa or such that he has legal residence there.

it's not that they worded it badly, it's just that the developers wrongly made the field mandatory to all applicants when in fact, it's just aimed at foreign residents to upload their resident card.
