I'm in the process of applying for a visa to come back to Thailand. But I'm stuck on a couple of supporting docs I need to add.

1. Residence permit? Can I use my passport. Never even heard of one.

2. Document indicating current residency? I'm currently staying with my Dad. So not sure what I'm supposed to add here.

Any help gratefully received as I can't find any help on their E-visa website.

Residence permit - passport page

Document for residency can use driving license showing your address

If you have Thai family (wife or a child) and in Thailand on a 60 day Tourist Visa you could extend that at the end of your 60 days for the Visit Thai Family extension to get another 60 days.

yeah, unless his dad is thai he won't get that 'visit family' extension. it's for visiting family that is of THAI nationality 😕

Submit your passport info page. They are trying to establish you are a legal resident of the country you are applying from.

The Thai tourist visa will only get you 60 days on arrival plus One 30 day extension of stay total of 90 days

BUT you want to stay 4 months...

You could get the METV multiple entry tourist visa in your home country and it can get you up to 9 months stay in Thailand with a couple simple land border bounces.

Hi James . Quick question as you seem very knowledgeable. I recently got approved for a Tourist visa multi entry however on the e visa they noted my passport expiry date expiring in September 2031 when it is actually October 2031 . I emailed the embassy in London and they said they cannot change the application once approved I would have to re apply or explain to immigration officer on arrival about the mistake . My question . Do you think it will be an issue on arrival , I am not wanting to spend another 150 pound on a new visa but I am also not wanting an issue on entry . Thanks in advance

you're far from the first person who input the wrong data into the application process. Your error doesn't seen likely to affect your entry (seeing as it's a 6 month visa valid from the date it was issued and your passport expiring in 2031 (no matter the month) is not anything of consequence..

I'd print the PDF, fly in with it and see what happens when you present it for entry. Worst case they don't let you in on it and you take a free 30 day entry stamp (visa exempt), best case they do let you in on it and give you 60 days on entry
