I’m in Houston for some medical treatment in September and I could apply for my dtv from there. I have a bank account which could show a usd balance so that wouldn’t be a problem.

Can anyone comment on if the process is easy or difficult and how long it would take? Maybe US in general as a foreigner?

Will it just be easier to wait and travel to another Asian country?

I need some advices concerning the Retirement O-A visa (1 year). I'm searching the web for 3 days and cannot find any answers. I live in Austin, TX. I want to apply for a Retirement O-A visa (1 year). Where I can apply online? any link? They said that when I got approved, I need to show up in person for the stamps & paper works. Where in person? Washington DC? Any place in Texas? It sounds that Houston does not do the Visa O-A anymore. Any advices will be welcome. Thanks in advance.
