Hi all

We are going to Koh Lipe from Langkawi in December, can we get the new 60 day stamp on arrival as we intend to Island hop from tjere. We went a couple of years ago but could only get the 15 day visa.

UK passport is 60 days visa exempt plus can extend once 30 days.

There's an immigration office on Pattaya Beach in Koh Lipe as you arrive and yes, that's the name of the beach ⛱️🏖️

We've gotten the speedboat there from Koh Lanta before now so we walked straight past it but if you're sailing in from Langkawi, you will need to go through that immigration point similar to any passport control ...and yes, it's a 60 day visa exemption stamp.

With UK passports you’ll now get 60 days visa exemption upon arrival. Only 15 days by land borders stopped in 2016.

Thankyou sure we got 15 days 2 years ago on Lipe as had to show return ferry as well

If you got 15 days 2 years ago what passport do you have? I think you may have got 45 days Visa Exempt then not 15 days.

I've got the British passport, the black one valid till 2032. Hopefully your right just don't want to arrive to be told can't get the stamp there 👍

Ok, out of my knowledge. If you’re entitled to visa exemption you should be able to get 60 days at any border into Thailand.
