What Are the Requirements for a UK Passport Holder Applying for a Tourist Visa in Vientiane?
What are the Tourist visa requirements for a UK passport holder applying in Vientiane?
Answer summary
UK passport holders applying for a Tourist Visa in Vientiane must prepare proof of funds with a minimum balance of THB 20,000 or an equivalent of USD 700 in their home bank account. Although an onward ticket is not required, it is advisable to have a rental contract as additional documentation. Previous visa history may affect the application's scrutiny.

some Embassy still OK, like KL or Yangon, but the other issue will be airport entry. So everyone should make a proper plan. I just encounter a sad story with a Turkish lady.

Sam Elliott Sheasby again...How many months have you been in Thailand in 2019?
I ask this as it appears the Thai Consulates in SE Asia are taking a critical look at those who are using various visas and visa exempt entries and extensions to live in Thailand.
