Someone please refresh my memory. If I go to Thailand on a tourist visa and after 90 days I fly out, when I come back does my tourist visa renew or do I need to go somewhere to apply again? US passport
I came to Laos on a 14-day visa-exempt after being told by the agent that I would get my DTV approved here within a week. The agent applied for my visa but filled in my name incorrectly during so my visa was cancelled. I reapplied for it myself the very day, but was only able to pay the next day. Because of this, I only have one week left on my visa-exempt stay here. I saw in this group that someone who applied on the 14th or 15th had their interview scheduled for the 28th. I don't have enough time left if the interview is going to be in 2 weeks. I was planning to do a visa run to Thailand and back into Laos, but it says online that I'm supposed to remain in Laos the whole time the visa is being processed, and that it would affect my DTV activation otherwise. What can I do? Is it possible to extend my visa-exempt stay at the immigration office? (I was reading on Google, and most said I can't, but an agent I met outside the embassy said he could do it for me, but it takes 5 days. I'm not sure if I should or could trust him.)
P.S I knew the name was the issue because the embassy told me the name was the problem in the cancellation email.
I'm planning a border run from Chiang Mai on May 22nd and wondering if anyone knows of providers offering a same-day run. I'm flexible regarding which border to cross—I just prefer to return the same day. If you have any recommendations or have used a service like this before, please send me a private message.
Hello! We are on our first 20 days of a 60 day tourist visa. We would like to extend it a further 30 days and were wondering which would be the best way:
1. Do it now, while in a vacation rental in Ao Nang, as we leave in 2 weeks for a friend’s empty house in Pattaya.
2. It is fine to wait until Pattaya, staying at a friend’s place versus a rental will not matter much.
3. Just do a visa run instead since it is our first time in Thailand and unlikely to get denied for a single run.
Hello. I was planning to do the visa run to Laos (border near Pakse) this Friday the 16th. Totally confused by the new TDAC online form as to whether I can still do this! Please advise?
I have the Non-B visa, I am planning on changing jobs in July. I have been told 2 options:
1, I can cancel my visa July 1st and the effective date is the 18th.
2, I can cancel on the 11th of July and its effective on the 1st of August.
My new job has told me if I want the Non-B I need to go to laos or another country and apply for it. I looked online and it appears to be a 10-15 day process with the E visa system. They no longer do in person visa's as of the 1st of this year.
Can I apply for this while in Thailand?

I am married to a Thai citizen. Could I just switch to the Non-O marriage visa without leaving the country, or would I still need to leave Thailand to apply? What does this process look like? Do I need to apply for the Non-O visa the same day as I go to cancel my non-B?

If I do need to leave Thailand to do the visa, is a land board crossing okay? About 2 years ago I tried to do a land boarder crossing into Laos near Chiang Rai and I was told I wasn't going to be allowed to leave if I don't get a reentry permit on my visa; which completed defeats the point of trying to do a visa run.
I am coming to visit Phuket and would like to stay for 6-months. In addition to the 60-day Visa on arrival and the 30-day extension, is it possible to get additional extensions or do I need to do an out of the country visa run? I am arriving from America on a tourist visa.
