TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion clarifies the distinction between a 'visa run' and a 'border bounce.' A visa run typically involves going to a Thai consulate to apply for a new visa, while a border bounce entails leaving Thailand and re-entering to gain additional entry stamps on an existing visa. It is possible to perform a border bounce to Savannakhet on a valid multi-entry Non-O visa, allowing for another 90-day stamp upon re-entry.

, knows how to border bounce AND knows the importance of correct terminology too (seeing as when he said 'visa run to Savannakhet" everyone thought he wanted to go to the thai consulate and BUY a new visa, not just use that border to bounce out and back in at. :O
We're done. (y)

If all you need to do is border bounce on your year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa follow what
, said. Go to any border, stamp out of thailand, stamp in&out of another country turn around and stamp right back into thailand to get another 90 day stamp.
What confused people was you saying you needed to go on a visa run :O
Here's how it works
Visa-run <- where you go to a thai consulate in another country and BUY a visa to thailand
Border-bounce <- where you go to the border, bounce out and back in to get another entry on a valid multi-entry visa OR to get a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp.

If you already have a valid o visa you can apply for a 60 day extension at an immigration office in Thailand

Ok so you need to border bounce then. Just exit and re enter to get another 90 days right?
No documents needed just cross a border and come back.
If Laos is the closest border then do it there.
But you will have to buy a visa on arrival at the Laos border that costs 1500 baht

I am confused again. I am talking about my 90 day visa run on my current ovisa, which should last for one year, but I still have to do visa run every 90 days.
