TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for the Certificate of Entry (COE) under the newly announced visa-free scheme for Thailand, users are debating which type of permitted person to select on the application. The consensus suggests selecting 'medium term visitor (tourist)', though some mention the 'Special Tourist Visa (STV)' depending on individual circumstances. Several comments reflect on personal experiences and the application process, noting variations in processing times and advice on communication with embassies.
Politely email your local embassy for clarification indicating intent to fly soon. Hopefully you filled out all details correctly as apparently if info incorrect it might be up to 3 days for consideration by embassy and then lodge a new application.
If it's been 3 days already best to email, greet and thank them in Thai(Sawadee/khapom), I think embassy staff working really hard at present time.
You could learn to play badminton. No, wait. That could be an Adam Sandler movie He forges credentials to get invited to a badminton tournament. He flies over on a repatriated flight and gets covid from an infected Thasi on board. He then is admitted to the hospital and falls in love with his nurse who turns out to be a lady boy, and takes his placer in the tournament. Not sure how it ends.
Just thought I'd point this out. You selected under "place of origin" as "Georgia". I noticed you're from the USA according to your profile. Georgia is also a name of a country, and you selected Georgia (the country). The USA does not use this CoE system.
If you are getting your CoE from Turkey, please disregard this comment :\
