Could anyone advise me regarding information about the OX visa. Does this visa fall into the business visa category or does it fall into the tourist visa category. Just looking at the alternative options of getting into Thailand if at all available.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The OX visa is classified as a retirement visa in Thailand, not a business or tourist visa. It has high requirements including certain nationality restrictions, mandatory health insurance, and a financial requirement of 3 million THB, along with extensive paperwork.

This is classified as a retirement visa, and is EXTREMELY difficult to get.

This is only available to people of certain countries

It requires health insurance

It requires 3M THB, and a bunch more paperwork.

I'm not sure what your nationality is, but you can read up on the (extremely) high requirements at
