TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, visa classifications include Non-Immigrant types such as B (Business), O (Other), and the distinctions of Non-B and Non-O. 'Non' indicates a Non-Immigrant visa, which implies they are temporary and not for immigration purposes. Additional categories like ED (Education) and suffixes such as A and X indicate the duration of stay, with A allowing for a year and X for five years.

Unless I'm wrong, at this time they have these classifications of Non-Immigrant Type visas: F, B, B-A, IM, IB, ED, ED-A M, R, RS, EX, O, O-A & O-X :O

Any visa with an A suffix means you get stamped in for a year, and an X means you get stamped in for 5 years, other than that you get stamped in for 90 days.

Non Imm means Non Immigrant. You will not be immigrating. All Non Imm Visas are Temporary - they can be extended but are still temporary - not permanent

Some people just to lazy to type the correct name, sorry no personal attack. The visa is named the Non Immigrant Visa and the letter stands for the reason why it is given. B for Business, O for Other, ED for Education, O-A for being over 50 years of age and want to stay long time in Thailand, just a few examples.

Hint - 'non' generally means "Non Immigration" so "Non-b" means " 'Non immigration' Business Visa. That is probably the most confusing part. If I remember correctly.. Most all visa are 'Non immigration' making the term useless.
