Hi all,

I just did my 1st 90 day report online. Hearing that I might need to go in person 1st time, that's fine.

My question is there was no payment option which had me shocked.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90-day report in Thailand is free of charge. For first-time reporting, individuals may need to go in person, as online reports might not be accepted in that case. If you fail to report on time or use an agent, there could be fees involved. Many expats prefer to establish familiarity in person at their local immigration office.

That's because reporting is not chargeable

My Immi sends it to me in the post, so I only have to go to immigration once a year, It costs me a small coffee money of 1000.baht

There's only 2 times you will pay for a 90 day report. 1) if you use an agent. 2) if you fail to report on time.

And yes, first report needs to be in person

The report is free.

Your report will be denied in a few days, and you will be asked to go report in person.

First time reporting online is not acceptable and have to go in person. You may submit and receive acknowledging mail but it's not enough. It has to be approved and mailed to you again.

I go in person. In Roi-et. Takes a few minutes they remember me. As other guy says. It’s a connection
