When making an appointment at Chaengwattana for a Work based extension (Teacher at private institution) do I need to make two separate appointments for my wife and child who 'piggyback' on my Extension?

SOLVED (update)

Here is what I did on my personal case, I had to renew my Work permit first and then extend my work visa Non -b

* renew the Work permit first at Nonthaburi, it was very easy. With the proper documents it was done in 20minutes. I paid 6100THB for a 2 years extension of my work permit.

* Then I went to Nonthaburi immigration and renewed my work visa extension with the same documents that I had to provide last year. If you have to use Nonthaburi immigration, keep in mind that they are searching for any reasons to not validate your documents (missing a stamp here, signature there...). They purposely ask for some more documents that are not on the list, then when you give them all they will ask for some more, etc etc. Be aware that it will take a few trips if you don't use an agent (5 for me). Paid the regular 1900THB for the extension.

Hi everyone,

I've been working in Thailand since 1 year already and I have to renew my work Visa and my Work Permit.

End of my 1 year visa is 16 October 2021

End of my work permit is 06 October 2021

Next 90 days : 23 September 2021

For the 1 year work Visa extension, I will have to provide again the same updated documents from my company that I presented the first time, right?

And for the work permit, what is the procedure? Do I have to get my visa extended before applying for the work permit?

In which order do I have to do things and do I have to hurry? I am a bit confused as it's the first time ๐Ÿ˜…

TIA,

Hi๐Ÿ˜Š For your info:

Ho Chi Min and Hanoi Thai Embassy, Vietnam DO NOT give 1 year multy Non-B, if you are CONDUCTING your business + holding WP.

1 year multy for BUSINESS visas is possible only for those NOT working, but only conducting business.

3 months single is the only option for WP holders. BUT! If you have 4 imployed Thais in your company, paying tax, you can turn this 3 months in one year multy in your local Immigration office. Those with only 2 workers taxed can not prolong it.

I do not know about any other visa types, but above info is today fresh ๐Ÿ˜ข

The stuff in the Embassy told, now Penang is the only place to get 1 year multi for conductors+WP. If you have RECENT experience in other countries or Kuala Lumpur, please let us know ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜Š
