My experience - Thai Embassy in Prague (Czechia):

Application submitted on Monday, 3rd March.

incl. ID, certification of employment incl. my annual salary, photo, actual balance from my bank,

The same day, a request for additional documents was received:

ticket to and out of Thailand, detailed travel plan, proof of accommodation, my CV, confirmation from employer stating that i can work remotely.

On 4th March, I sent the requested documents.

On the morning of 5th March, I received a request for another document, ID of my landlord, which I sent immediately.

On the afternoon of 5th March, I received the visa.

The biggest issue was with the confirmation from the employer. HR had never done this before, and my colleagues are very cautious.

Otherwise smooth process.

Remaining uncertainty is about Social Security - do i need to pay if working remotely from Thailand and my stay doesn't exceed 180 days? Any experience?
