incl. ID, certification of employment incl. my annual salary, photo, actual balance from my bank,
The same day, a request for additional documents was received:
ticket to and out of Thailand, detailed travel plan, proof of accommodation, my CV, confirmation from employer stating that i can work remotely.
On 4th March, I sent the requested documents.
On the morning of 5th March, I received a request for another document, ID of my landlord, which I sent immediately.
On the afternoon of 5th March, I received the visa.
The biggest issue was with the confirmation from the employer. HR had never done this before, and my colleagues are very cautious.
Otherwise smooth process.
Remaining uncertainty is about Social Security - do i need to pay if working remotely from Thailand and my stay doesn't exceed 180 days? Any experience?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user details their experience applying for a Thai visa at the embassy in Prague, outlining the documents submitted and the additional requests received. The process was generally smooth, but they encountered challenges with obtaining verification from their employer. They also seek clarification regarding social security contributions while working remotely from Thailand for less than 180 days, with several commenters confirming that no social security payments are required if not holding a work permit.
If you are talking about Thai Social Security then no. You would need to be employed by a Thai company which you cannot be on a DTV. It is quite a good deal at max 750 THB a month and includes health cover at govt hospitals and unemployment payments:-) :-)
