Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate some guidance.

Just to clarify upfront: I’m fully aware that I’m required to remain in the UK until the visa process is finalized. I’m not questioning that rule.

I’m asking because there is a real possibility that I may need to leave the UK before the decision, and I’d like to understand the consequences, not debate whether I should stay or not.

Specifically:

• If leaving the UK before the decision leads to an automatic cancellation, would that negatively affect my immigration record or be considered a red flag?

• If the application is cancelled, would I still be able to apply again for the DTV from another country in the future?

• And in a different scenario: if the visa were approved while I am already outside the UK and entering Thailand as a tourist, is there any possibility of re-entering using that visa, or would it be invalid in that case?

I appreciate any insight from people who have factual information or personal experience with this situation. Thank you!
