Currently husband's "retirement" visa expires March 15. We have already been denied an extension so will head to Europe for the rest of smokey season and explore visa options there.
On returning we will be coming in on a 6 month METV. This will give us the time to close up house, sell car etc if we decide that's the way to go.
I just want to make sure we can get back into the country. Passport has 6 years of retirement visas and extensions. Will that raise red flags? Or is that a duuuuhhh question?
Are we are going to get flagged as "not a tourist" and denied entry?
Any suggestions on alternative visas? Or things we can do to increase our chances? Things we shouldn't do? I already figured that showing my 5 year lease is probably not a good idea.
Going back to US right now for a new retirement visa is too expensive otherwise that would be #1.
