I’m planning to apply for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) from Hanoi and had a question regarding the financial requirement. Specifically, does anyone know how long the 500,000 THB needs to be in the bank account before applying? Has anyone here been approved with the funds in their account for less than a month? Thanks 🙏

Hi everyone, I looked in the group already but couldn't really find an answer. We're going to apply for a DTV in Jakarta with my family. I know that they are fine with us having 500,000 baht for the whole family and that they want 2 months worth of bank statements. I'm just wondering if the 500,000 baht needs to be in the account for the 2 months or if it's ok if it's there for 3 or 4 weeks 🤔. Just asking because they want the money on a bank account in my name and I only have a wise account, not sure I want that much money on a wise account for so long 😅

Thanks everyone for your help!

Hello Everyone,

Non-O Immigrant Visa Based on retirement/ over 50 Yearly extension in Hua Hin.

I've just been to the bank to get my 1-year statements and I'll be able to pick them up in 7 days.

Am I able to use a bit of money above the 800,000 baht in this account while waiting for the statements or does the 1 year Bank Statement total have to match the account total on the day I do the renewal.

Thank you as always
