What is the financial requirement timeline for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) application from Hanoi?

I’m planning to apply for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) from Hanoi and had a question regarding the financial requirement. Specifically, does anyone know how long the 500,000 THB needs to be in the bank account before applying? Has anyone here been approved with the funds in their account for less than a month? Thanks 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry concerns the financial requirement for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV), specifically how long the 500,000 THB must be in a bank account before applying. Responses indicate that the money should ideally be in the account for a month, with some anecdotal evidence of successful applications with funds held for less than a month. It is suggested to either wait longer for a stronger bank statement or to submit the application sooner with existing funds, acknowledging the risks involved.

There is a post from March, where funds were transferred the day before. It’s a tough one, but really; you have two options, go for it and submit what you have (risking the application fee) or wait for at least 3 months to build up the statement balance. But at least you have one ref point here with this post.

Anonymous participant not sure you will get it mate to be honest, but hope you do. Good luck with the app 🙏 just a little tip; if you lack on the financials requirement, try to make up for it in another way. I.e over supply of work documents etc, or if soft power, maybe a long introduction letter about yourself etc, may help.

Thank you. I have a comprehensive set of documents, including salary slips and bank deposit records, from the company I work for remotely. Additionally, a formal letter confirming my remote work arrangement has already been issued by my employer, so hopefully that’ll be enough.

I don’t think Thai embassies state specifically how many months/ weeks the 500k has to be seasoned for? Each embassies have varying requirements, so that’s why any extra information from recent experiences would be helpful.
