TLDR : Answer Summary
For your border run to Cambodia to activate a new 60-day stay under the METV, you will need your passport and a passport-size photo for the Cambodian visa. It's important to note that an Extension of Stay cannot be obtained at the border. Additionally, if you plan to cross into Cambodia at Poi Pet, be aware that you might need to spend a night there due to local laws.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

1. If you're going into Poi Pet, you may have to spend the night there, per Cambodian laws.

2. I understand the activation of a new 60 day stay can be performed at any border. If you are planning on doing Poi Pet, I suggest finding another border. The one in Kanchanburi/ Myanmar is great, if you qualify for it.

I never been there, but I heard it's an easy border. Good luck, have fun, drink lots of water, it might be hot.

You can not get an Extension of Stay on any visa at the border. I guess what you like to do is activate a new 60 days of stay and therefor you only need your passport. What you need for Cambodia, I do not know
