TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand with an ED visa, it's important to prepare certain documents for immigration. While your visa itself confirms your entry, having additional documents can help. It's advisable to carry a bank statement and any proof of your purpose for studying, such as an invitation letter and enrollment confirmation from your school. Be ready to answer questions about why you're learning Thai and details about your schooling. Additionally, be aware that airlines may ask for proof of a return flight, even if it's not a strict visa requirement.

Justin. You might get queried by the airline bringing you in about a return flight, ( I have twice on a spouse visa which doesnt require one either). If they do, tell them it's not a visa requirement and to check with an IO if they dont believe you.

You already have your visa right? You should be good to go though bank statements couldn’t hurt and just be prepared to get asked why you want to learn Thai, where you are going to school, etc. My school gives me a few documents to hand over to immigration if I get stopped. Just has a mini invitation letter from the school, my school schedule, shows my enrollment, etc.
