DTV - got my bank account set up in LatAm. I'll have proof of financial stability. But my citizenship is in the US.

Are there any documents I need to get in the US for DTV? Apostille, etc?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the necessary documents to obtain a DTV visa in Thailand, specifically whether they need any documents like an Apostille from the US despite having proof of financial stability. The comments suggest the need for more context regarding the DTV type before proceeding, and advise contacting the relevant embassy directly for accurate information.

Email the embassy you are going to apply at.

You've basically given no information in your post. DTV for what reason? Which embassy? No one can answer your questions without actual information.

in the same vein, ask the specific questions that need answered please.

If you need more information than provided to know which embassy, then that's news to me. I'm asking about a Thailand DTV Visa from US using a bank account in LatAm. Excuse me for keeping some mystery about my banking online.

DTV for a valid reason lol. If the requirements vary between something like soft skills and digital nomad status for example, that's something you as the person who apparently has so much information they're laughing in my face for an incomplete post would have to share. I'm the person soliciting support. I know I'm the one lacking information. If you're here to punch down at people then maybe go touch some grass and try doing better tomorrow.

Let's keep the replies productive please

with an attitude like that you don't belong in Thailand. The only way you will know if it works is to apply. If it works it works, and if not then it doesn't.

you speak for all of Thailand?

I'm actually quite easy going when people don't drop their weird unhelpful and borderline aggressive attitudes into my lap just because I asked for some help.

Is the extent of the assistance available in this group a "iunno run full tilt blindfolded and see how it goes"

Because if so I think that negates the need for this group. And it's been my impression that Thai people are much friendlier than that. Maybe you need to assimilate a little more before speaking for all of Thailand

I speak for myself. You ask extreme questions for something that just came into existence a little over a month ago, and you expect an answer, as if someone has done the exact same thing. You don't belong here. It is that simple. Be a man and find out for yourself then report back to us. That's what Thais do...lolol

I'm a veteran problem solver. I'm just running on 3 hours of sleep every day this week to help my sister with her kid and thought "hey, maybe I could ask for support and actually receive it instead of recreational verbal abuses from malcontents online"

Silly of me.

I will definitely be back to help others after I figure it out. But imma block you because you don't deserve to benefit from it ✌️
