Can I qualify for the DTV workation option if I'm currently unemployed but have rental income and savings?

Hello!

I work seasonally (May - October) so I'm unemployed currently (until May 2025) but I also have a rental property which I can show income for for the past couple of years.

I also have much more than the 500,000 baht needed in my bank account and have for years.

Is this enough to be considered for the workation option for the DTV? I'd rather not sign up for classes as I like to travel around thailand during my 6 months here per year.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual questions whether they qualify for the DTV workation visa while currently unemployed but having rental income and sufficient savings. Comments suggest a 60-day visa exemption with a possible extension, concerns about qualifying for the workation due to income sources, and alternative suggestions like short courses for visa approval.

Where are you considering applying from?

Rather arrive on 60-day visa exemption, extend for 30 days, then repeat.

6 months covered until you can work again.

Haven't you asked this question before? That, or someone in the same position has.

i think you should apply with the remote work. i applied solely with real estate income and was denied

It does not look like yiu qualify for Workaytion. Why not just do a short cooking class? They seem to get approval.
