I am applying this week for a 58day visa. As far as I know the embassy gives 3months validity of visa to enter the country upon approval of our application and once we pass the customs in thailand and passport get stamped that's the day our 58days start to count. Right?
So lets say If I get my visa by next week Aug25, I have time until more or less November 25 to enter thailand.
So lets say even if I enter Thailand on the very last day November 24 or 25, I would be still given a 58days permit to stay so something like until January 22 or such. Right?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a visa that they believe offers a 58-day stay in Thailand. They are unclear about the validity and duration of the visa. Responses indicate that the user might be mistaking the 58-day visa for a typical 60-day tourist visa, which allows for a stay of 59 days after entering the country. Additionally, users clarify that the entry stamp is given on the day the traveler enters Thailand, regardless of when the visa was issued, and also mention that some nationalities can enter Thailand without a visa for 60 days.
