I did a quick search but couldn't find an answer to my specific question. Regarding the Thai e-visa: I'd like to travel from Malaysia to Thailand and the easiest option would be to apply for a Thai tourist visa online. In the section "eligibility for application" it asks for your permanent residence/current location -- which are two quite different things. Entering my European nationality and my European permanent residency and I'm eligible to apply. But if I enter my current location of Malaysia, I would not be eligible. Also, the flight ticket required for the application would show my current location. Has anyone any advice here? Can I apply by choosing my country of permanent residency but with a flight departing from Malaysia? Thanks!
